Farsight creates immersive worlds about the future of art and culture. From virtual reality games about AI to animated films about the fate of digital celebrities, our projects explore the impact of automated technology on the practice of creativity.

Named after a fictional start-up in the 2017 film ‘Geomancer’, Farsight foresees a future where AI has completely revolutionised all creative industries. From fashion to architecture, music to film, new stars will shine while others fade. Not all of them will be human. Our mission is to render this strange new world as it emerges.

OUR SCHOOLEDUCATING A NEW BREED OF ARTISTS

At Farsight, we created an innovative system for cultivating young talent. We call it SoMA™ - the School of Machine Arts.

This is a new kind of Art School, a campus for training in the creative applications of AI. We research and apply smart technology across all of our four departments: Architecture, Arts & Humanities, Communication and Design.

It's a place for people to gain PlayWork™ experience while learning about automation and AI.
